While I was playing football at Texas, I became frustrated with the quality of the software we used to watch film. The tool looked like it was built in 2005, and it actually was.

Growing up in Silicon Valley, I admired every Apple launch and vividly remember sneaking onto school MacBooks to stream the Apple Keynote in elementary school. That early exposure shaped my expectations for product design and usability. So when I found myself using clunky, outdated football software, I decided to do something about it.

I started PreSnap with the goal of building better software for the game of football. After several pivots, we found traction with a new direction: an app that democratized access to college football film, specifically for high school coaches to study. Within five months, we scaled to $125K in ARR.

But as much as I loved football, I felt a pull toward something bigger. A few months after moving to San Francisco, I realized my dream was to build products that reached broader audiences, not just the football world.
